About these statistics

These figures come directly from Nginx access logs on this server. Every completed UTC hour is included; the current incomplete hour is excluded. The report is generated once an hour, even when nobody has the dashboard open. Filters only change the view of that saved report.

Visitor-days count distinct daily IP address and user-agent combinations using a private keyed hash. A visitor returning on different days counts again. Shared IP addresses and changing browsers affect this estimate. IP addresses, visitor hashes, full user agents, query strings, and raw logs are never published. No cookies or JavaScript trackers are added to your other websites.

Page views are successful GET requests excluding common asset extensions and API/static paths; they are an estimate because access logs do not record what someone actually read. Referrers can be absent or forged. Request time includes the full Nginx request lifecycle, not browser page-load time. Only this machine’s logged HTTP traffic is covered; requests served solely by an upstream CDN or with access logging disabled are absent. Aliases are grouped under their Nginx server name. Stats itself is excluded.

Detailed analytics are retained for 90 days. Earlier combined logs did not identify the requested site, so they are not used for site comparisons. Empty dates before collection began represent missing history, not measured zero traffic. No identities, geographic locations, sessions, or bounce rates are inferred.
